We have discussed the various categories of irregular plurals in class. We have a group of irregular plurals that are completely different words when they change from singular to plural (child to children). Another group changes "f" to "v" and add "s" (knife to knives). The other category includes irregular plurals which stay exactly the same as their singular version (sheep to sheep). We also have a few words that add "es" instead of just an "s" to create the plural (tomato to tomatoes).
